November has been a busy month! We harvested lots of vegetables from our garden this month. We had sweet snap peas, crisp romaine lettuce, sturdy spinach, crunchy carrots, juicy red tomatoes (from Dan's special plant) and aromatic basil. We even made insalata caprese with our very own tomatoes and basil leaves... it was delicious! Besides our families, we also had some foreign visitors this month-- Canadian geese (Dan checked their passports). Each morning and afternoon they fly into the corn field behind our house to commune. It's quite a site to see!
