Canon Repairs Camera

This week Canon returned our A70 point-and-shoot digital camera. After 3 years of taking great photos the camera stopped working. The CCD - image detecting chip - had failed. I went on to the Canon website and found out that several of Canon's digital cameras shared this issue. Also, Canon was offering to fix the problem for free. - Canon Recall - I called up their tech support. They emailed some shipping labels to me ... I sent out the camera ... and less than two weeks later the camera was back in my hands and as good as new. So if you have one of the cameras listed in the recall and you've had issues similar to this then I would recommend sending your camera in.
